About This Feature Creature

In ancient times Sea Horse was considered sacred to both Poseidon and Neptune
as protection from the dangers of the sea. Guiding sailors on their voyages and
even escorting their drowned souls into the afterlife. Considered good luck in
Chinese culture especially for those who dare to journey onto the great seas.

Sea Horse is a magical creature, 46 species in all, that can teach us great life
lessons. Unlike other fish who are constantly on the move, Sea Horse remains
anchored by it’s tail showing us the importance of staying grounded even when
the world surrounding us feels like a turbulent ocean. When a mate dies, the
other soon follows it’s partner as they cannot live without one another. A sign of
love and devotion we can all learn from. Despite their small size they are symbols
of power and perseverance. They are here to remind us of our own power regardless of how small we feel.
